Production Assistant, Cathedral Productions (Posted April 5, 2010)
Description: The Production Assistant primary responsible will consist of production support within video, audio and sales departments on Sunday and Wednesday’s worship services. The secondary responsibilities will include product fulfillment via phone orders, website online store, data entry and special external and internal orders. Other areas will include but not limited to audio/video series development, sales inventory preparation and special product disbursement as directed. Additional obligations will include audio and video support in Perth Amboy, Asbury Park or Plainfield worship services. Assist management with new volunteers to coordinate hands-on and education training for all related department equipment. Qualifications: The Production Assistant shall possess a two-year broadcasting degree from an accredited college or university or qualified trade school. A minimum of 2 years working experience in the audio visual field is preferred. This person must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work well with other people. Must be a Christian and willing to adhere to the Cathedral International "Tenets of Faith." We are seeking two (2) part-time personnel. Executive Assistant, Episcopal Office (Reposted May 2010)
Description: Provide high-level administrative support to the Senior Pastor by handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, reviewing and routing incoming mail, taking dictation, recording and transcribing meeting minutes, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings. Additionally, responsibilites include coordinating Bishop Hilliard’s schedule and appointments; arranging Bishop Hilliard's travel schedule and reservations, monitoring work activities of the Office Assistant(s). May also train and supervise lower-level clerical staff.
Requirements: Candidate must be capable of handling confidential and sensitive information in a professional and discreet manner. Highly organized, flexible and competent. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.Able to adapt to change quickly. Possess good writing and editing skills. On occasion, able to travel out of town on business trips. Must be a Christian, possessing a high level of spiritual and emotional maturity. An Associate degree preferred with a minimum of 5 - 7 years of relevant work experience. .Confidentiality and discretion are absolute requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). (Microsoft skills will be tested prior to an offer of employment.) Experience with Database software, Contact Management and Adobe is also desired, but not required. Background check required.
