DEBT FREEDOM CAMPAIGN LAUNCHES
On Sunday, April 12, 2009, Cathedral International launched it's "Expanding Our Borders: The Road to Debt Freedom" initiative. Aligning perfectly with the biblical mandate to "let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another;" (Romans 13:8), our desire to eliminate the $4 million debt will dramatically increase our ability to transform, touch and renew lives. This is not just about buildings, but about building God's kingdom, feeding the hungry, offering scholarships to our children, spreading the gospel across the world and so much more.

It is because of the seeds sown into the ministry that Cathedral International has been able to transform thousands of lives for Christ. Below is a brief testimonies exemplifying "your gifts at work."
"Approximately, 10 years ago, while seeking employment, my Lord and Savior led me from the streets of Newark to the Cathedral. Thanks to God, I was hired, even after confessing my background to one of the church Elders. Because of his mercy and what I believe God's plan, I was given the opportunity to redeem my life. From the day I was hired at Cathedral, my life changed. The Bishop has constantly shown me tough love, along with the grace, mercy and forgiveness of Christ. I am now able to provide for my family and show my son a better way. Nobody but God working through the Cathedral could have done this." Officer Q. Fields

HISTORY
On a crisp fall afternoon in November 2002, at the historic "Great Auditorium" in Ocean Grove, NJ, Cathedral International launched its vision for future expansion with its "Expanding our Borders...Building for Today and Tomorrow" campaign. With the purchase of 100 acres of land in Cranbury, NJ in November 2004, Bishop Hilliard and the Cathedral International church family embarked upon God's vision to expand the reach of the ministry from a primarily urban-based ministry to a broader-based regional ministry. There are more souls to be saved, lives to be renewed, land to be possessed! The expansion to Cranbury, NJ will not discount what Cathedral International has already established, but will enhance the church's ability to meet the need of a "congregation" being birthed through our obedience to the "Great Commission" to "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." Matthew 28:19.
Many of the photos that you see on the screen to the left are from the "Ground Blessing" Ceremony, held in October of 2006 on the land in Cranbury. Cathedral International celebrates how the Lord is using this part of His vineyard to advance His kingdom. The Lord has been faithful to us, yet in His faithfulness, He reminds us never to rest solely on where we have been.
The 100 acres of land would also be paid off with the elimination of the debt; thereby, positioning the ministry to increase its reach, to serve more, to give more.
